After double-clicking on the WBK20 node, the WBK20 Properties box will open.

See following figure.

If IOtech WBK20 is not listed in the Windows Device Manager, refer to the section

entitled, “Troubleshooting, Symptom 1,” located in chapter 6.

Click the “Port Settings” tab.

8. Verify that the following settings are in effect,

if they are not, the WBK20A may not function correctly.

•

The radio-button for “Use any interrupt assigned to the port” should be ON

•

The checkbox for “Enable legacy plug and play detection” should be checked.

•

The LPT Port Number should agree with the number identified in step 5.

Note: You should write down the LPT number. It will be needed for the interface test that

is discussed in chapter 5.

9. Click on the <OK> button.

This completes the procedure.
